What is important to us

We believe that relationships are the most important things in life.  Once a man asked Jesus to tell him the most important rule for living.  Jesus told him to love God with all he is and to love other people as well as he loves himself.  We all spend a lifetime learning to do this.  When we are about to die, no one regrets not spending more time at the office--we think about our relationships with God and others.  At Cadence, we want these relationships to be our life priorities.  We want to help you with the vertical relationship (with God) and horizontal relationships (with others). 

That is why our mission as a church is simply this:

Changing lives and building relationships through the love of Christ.

A "cadence" is the rhythm that keeps a group together.  We named our church Cadence because we want to live to a spiritual rhythm of life in our world.  We want to walk to the beat of a different Drummer.  Our aim is to be a growing community that shows what it looks like to bring God's dreams of renewal and hope to Morgantown, West Virginia, and the whole world.  Life is full of pain and problems, and we can choose to be part of the problem or part of the solution.  The church is called to be part of the solution.
